Who is your teacher?
Hello, I am Viktoria Jeanroy. My life began in Hungary and has since taken root in the beautiful Aeugst am Albis, Switzerland.
My path wasn't always paved with clay; it started amidst the figures and forecasts of finance. Yet, after a decade in finance, I chose to follow the whispers of my childhood dreams back to the earthy embrace of pottery. I have been participating in several pottery courses in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Hungary and also I taught myself at the same time.
Today I bring my years of learning to life in my small cosy studio, in Aeugst am Albis. Here I create hand-built, functional, yet decorative stoneware and porcelain pottery designed to make everyday moments a little more special.
For me pottery is a way to reconnect with the now. It's my meditation, a silent conversation between heart and earth.
